This lunch and learn explores the experiences of autistic females and the gender diagnosis gap. Perspectives of autistic women are the focus of the content for this session.

An opportunity to explore issues and difficulties facing autistic learners in further education and as they move into adulthood. The lunch and learn will provide suggested approaches and strategies for reducing the ‘cliff edge’ from further education into adult life.

Autism and Mental Health: strategies and sources of support

This lunch and learn explores the mental health problems that some autistic individuals may experience. It highlights how stress and anxiety can affect autistic individuals. The second part of the Lunch and Learn explores some strategies and approaches to reduce stress and anxiety and provides some recommendations to parents, carers and professionals for how to improve the mental health of autistic individuals.
