Our mASCot Monday Cafe

Our mASCot Cafe is run by our lovely young mASCot members.

We are partnering with The Real Junk food Project, who run the cafe in central Brighton-North Laines.

The cafe is staffed by volunteer autistic young people (16 and over) on a Monday.

It provides opportunities to learn barista skills, customer service, front of house, food preparation, cooking skills, our volunteers will be able to do as much or as little as they can and we aim to provide training, mentoring and ongoing support.

In addition to volunteering opportunities there is potential for the cafe to host coffee morning, games sessions, meet ups for teens etc.

If you have experience in running a cafe and/or your young person would like to be involved in this project, please contact us.
