As you may be aware mASCot are in the process of writing a Position Statement complaining about CAMHS from our members, as well as the mASCot Directors.
This complaint will be around all our experiences of CAMHS, so we need to feedback on how things have been for you and your family
We have broken the complaint into four categories:
Disjointed assessment process
Lack of ASC appropriate therapeutic intervention
Poor management of medication
Disrespectful /insensitive attitude towards families
mASCot need your accounts in one or more of these areas. please give as much detail as possible without using any names so these can be attached anonymously to the complaint.

The CCG have recently written to Caroline Lucas MP defending why their CAMHS service has been so poor during lockdown, However, this explanation fails to address the long standing issues and concern families have faced way before Covid - 19 and lockdown and we all know this isn't a temporary problem.
mASCot feels really strongly that this isn't good enough.
Sending this letter to MPs on the basis that parents will only get this information if they have the strength, stamina, knowhow or time to write to their MP for answers is unacceptable.
This letter needed to have been sent directly to parents and service users.
